Everyone, meet Ralph. Of all birds I have ever had, he is my favorite! (I am an amatuer on all fronts and do not pretend that I am an expert. I have never been into and do not involve myself with pit games.)
My brother and I have been very fortunate to have been gifted a couple of very beautiful birds from a very generous friend. I'd like to find a very solid brood hen for him so if anyone has one, please private message me!
I allow him to free range throughout and lately I've noticed a crack in his beak. I didn't think much about it, however yesterday I found that the crack had gotten worse. Is it safe to trim/clip his beak? How much is too much trimming? Do I leave it alone and hope it will grow itself back together? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
