This guy I got is pooting some real bad green poop. He just got better about a month ago. Near death, and it might look like it's starting again. Wanna get it some meds before it gets really bad again. I feed all my birds the same type of food. But it's only him that's having problems. What's some good stuff out there that'll help? TIA

Yea bright green. He still eats...but gains little weight. I've wormed him, gave him some vitamins and electrolytes and also some antibiotics

It sound worms or coccidia i would wormed him and also treat him with for coccidia. You can put him on chick med starter for a couple weeks that should bring him back up.Also make sure that his pen is well disifected.

Charcoal pills are good for flushing out the digestive system. It grabs a hold of all the bacteria.

    as with The Hitman says,

cider vinegar and garlic powder also charcoal powder  works well.

keep water clean, as i have said before i use rain water pure and natural no chemicals added.

If Your cock and hen is not depositing a nice round uniform stoole youve got a digestive bug or problem with bacteria in the digestive system,

as it progresses he will have blood in his stoole. Orientals are almost immune to every disease, but the greens.

The capsules im refering to are made from natural herbs, 100% organic.

Send me a self addressed envelope and I will send you some capsels to take care of it.

JamVan, charcoal pills are a vitamin sold at most pharmacy stores (I.e. CVS & RiteAid). Most doctors suggest charcoal pills to get rid of any stomach bacteria. I know a lot of people who use it in their birds. Even before you start a new conditioning diet. It's a natural product.

Skindian is correct with the charcoal pills to clean the system and hitman also gave a very good answer for building a good amune system, I regularly feed Apple cider vinegar and brown sugar soaked on oats as a staple food in my feed mix. The birds love it and its a great addition to a feed program.

    All great feedbacks! Thanks guys.
So with soaking oats with apple cider vinegar do you just add a small amount with water? Never did do much feeding with oaks. Mostly whole corn, sratch, cracked corn and chicken pellets

When you feed oats do try the brown sugar with it, it helps feed the bacteria which helps build their amune system, also the worst it smells the better they like it,

One other thing, do not use a metal container for your soak, use plastic or rubber tubs, you will like the way your birds will act and look, enjoy

If you use the Triple Sulfa powder add 1 teaspoon per gallon of water for 5-7 days, with the charcoal pill, give him 2 pills morning and night until crop is empty, also be sure to squirt about 10cc of water after the pills or capsules to make sure they desolve,  no more feed until crop empties,  I'd use electrolytes or Pedialyte instead of the water after the capsules
