Toby if you scroll back to page 14 on this tread you'll see that pair I post up earlier this year..he was the out come of that breeding..i believe the cock was 50/50 bantam Shamo and bantam asil..the hen is bantam asil..
also Toby if ur from California too we can breed all year round haha might just have to keep the chick indoors during the wet months :)
Mine started with a 50/50 bantam shamo/bantam aseel over a bantam aseel hen,i kept breeding back to the hen, this stag is the second gen.lol, i can never get my hens to lay naturally in the winter so i wait till spring....what part if California u in mate
Hello Peter, I suggest to breed back to an Asil hen with a good solid head and beak. The rest of that bird is very good, all very balanced. If you file that beak a little bit it looks better too. Just my 5 cents opinion. Regards Willem
