Disciple, Cyberdave, I need your suggestion.
My only 3rd generation home breed pullet was ready to lay for the first time, when I saw a very unusual problem. After I returned from work, I found her first egg hanging out of her anus. It was a fully grown egg, came out of her body, but attached to a red thin layer of internal tissue. It seemed that the shell of the egg to be stuck in the thin layer of tissue. The mouth of the tissue, from where the egg should have come out smoothly, seemed small and dry. Actually the brim of this tissue got stuck with the egg shell. I gave water to lubricate the egg out, but it didn't come out. It was still stuck with the brim. Later I broke the egg, squeezed the egg and brought it out. The red internal tissue was still dangling out of her anus. The second day same thing happened, but this time it came out when I pulled it a little. She was in pain, and so was I. Can you advise me?
