Well respected guys, Abreu, the pama of today's thailand was pretty much bred to dominate the styled birds. It's very hard for a style bird to deploy his skills when the pama won't allow the style bird near him controlling the distant and range. In a small ring, the pama is force to "muy" (wrestle, grapple). But technically speaking, the proper way to let two birds perform is in open range. There's a lot of good birds out there that have lost, but would had won if the ring was of proper size. This is what I observe during my time in Thailand last year. I only saw very few still raising styled birds, and for most of the part, it was for preservation purposes.

Yes indeed and as always:> "open range"-Nature's way...will often (highlight) the true "Nature of the Beast"!
